Silver Star is Now Open for the Season!!

With 72cms of snow at the top more than 500 skiers and snowboarders were able to hit the slopes at Silver Star today to get their winter started!

20 runs were open with access from the Comet 6-Pack Express and Silver Queen chairs and there were lots of smiles as people reveled in the feeling of sliding down the slopes and riding up the chair to do it all over again and again.

The Telus Park Crew put 6 features up in Middle Dipper and laid claim to that space as the early season park. Saturday we will see the ropes drop on the Alpine Meadows chair and the Attridge area of the mountain adding more terrain to work on that leg burn.

All lift tickets are 30% off for the duration of opening weekend and Big White pass holders ski for free until Big White opens – Bring on the 2011
